Please be informed of the course withdrawal period for the 2nd semester of the 2025 academic year as follows.
Students who wish to withdraw from their registered courses must complete the withdrawal application within the designated period.
Course withdrawal requires approval from both the course instructor and the department head; therefore, students are advised to consult with the instructor before applying.
※ Please note that course withdrawal is not the same as course cancellation (change). It means that both the credits and tuition fees for the withdrawn course will be forfeited.
Therefore, students should consider carefully before submitting a withdrawal request.

2. Application Period: November 3 (Mon) – November 7 (Fri), 2025, by 18:00
3. Eligible Courses: Courses registered for the 2nd semester of the 2025 academic year
4. Application Method: Online application via the University Information System
(http://wsinfo.wsu.ac.kr)
5. Withdrawal Procedure:
Student online application → Course instructor confirmation → Department head approval → Academic Affairs Office approval → Process completed
6. Important Notes on Course Withdrawal
a. Withdrawal applications will not be accepted outside the designated period.
b. Students may withdraw only from courses exceeding the minimum credit requirement for the semester. (However, for fourth-year students in their final semester, withdrawals are only allowed beyond the minimum number of credits required for graduation.)
c. Withdrawn courses cannot be replaced with other courses, and tuition fees already paid will not be refunded.
d. Students must check whether their withdrawal has been approved or rejected. If rejected, they must continue attending the class; otherwise, they will receive an “F” grade for non-attendance.
e. Course withdrawal may affect scholarship eligibility and graduation requirements. Students should review related matters carefully to avoid any disadvantages.
