◆ 프로젝트 내용: When household waste is not collected in a timely or proper manner, it negatively impacts the residents' living environment. Additionally, if residents fail to use the designated pay-as-you-go waste bags and instead dispose of their garbage in non-standard bags, these may remain unattended for extended periods, as collection vehicles are unable to pick them up immediately. This can lead to inconvenience and hygiene-related complaints To address these environmental and public health challenges, this project aims to develop an AI-powered system that classifies household waste into six distinct categories. A mobile app will be created to integrate with this system, allowing waste collectors to capture photos or videos of discarded garbage and upload them to a server. The server’s AI model will then classify the waste, enabling managers to monitor the location and quantity of uncollected items via a management dashboard from the community.
